AmeriCorps Alums DC is grateful to host social events, service opportunities, and professional development activities for current and former service members in the Washington, DC region. These events and activities are planned and managed by our all-volunteer Board of Directors. The majority of our events are free of charge and we aim to make them diverse and accessible to meet the needs of all alums in our network.
In order to plan and host events these as well as keep 501(c)3 status for board operations, we rely on generous donations from our community. Funding helps us make events more accessible, allows for improved communications with members and community partners, and keeps our non-profit status which gives us many more options for events and operations.
We use the GiveButter platform to manage our event registrations as well as our donations. You will be given the option to donate while registering for any event, or you can choose our general donation options as well - click the link below for our General Donations page.
